We would like to express our pleasure with Bob and Tracy Lucido who represented us in
the recent sale of our home. We interviewed several realtors before choosing Bob
Lucido. We decided to go with Bob because we genuinely felt that he understood what we
needed, and that he had a proven plan to accomplish the goal: to sell our home as
quickly as possible for the best market price. Bob guided us through the entire process. Bob provided us with a professional market analysis, and told us facts about the real estate environment. He told us in very plain language what we would need to do. He guaranteed us that if we followed his plan, he would sell our house quickly. Bob spoke to us about the critical role which staging plays in selling homes. He told us to “make it look like a model.” He told us to clean, remove clutter, paint, and spruce up the landscaping, remove personal pictures, etc. As he told us these things, we expressed to him that “our home is nice, why do we need to do all of this?” Bob, in that special way he communicates, quickly got us off the offensive. He quickly won our trust, and reminded us of the mission: to sell for top dollar, quickly. He reassured us that it was not about our lifestyle or our taste, but rather it was about making the home appealing to the buyers. Bob agreed to pay for a staging expert, Jacyln Iampieri from The Home Staging Company. She came in and put together a list of recommendations for us. Jacyln was able to give us a short “to do” list, and have us rearrange furniture and declutter. Her advice was crucial to selling the home quickly. Bob also brought in cleaners, who “detailed” our home. It was never that clean! Then Bob brought in a photographer who spent all day at our home. He took the most flattering pictures of the property. He even came back at night for outside pictures. Bob paid for the photographer too. Ten days after making the deal with Bob, and a couple of storage pods later, our house was ready for sale. Bob and Tracy came by several times while the home was prepared, and constantly helped us. Bob got a great contract on our house, just eight (8) days after it listed. The buyer was very thorough in their home inspection, and tried to drive a hard bargain. But Bob was always our best advocate, and was able to represent us perfectly. Because of Bob’s guidance, we were always in a position of strength. The house was priced right, was in great shape, and was staged properly. I do believe that the quick offers which came in gave us a stronger position which allowed a favorable contract for us. Mission accomplished! This was the fourth home we have sold, and never have we had such a pleasurable experience. Bob is savvy, personable and knows the market inside and out.
