Leslie Rosenthal began her career in new home sales and marketing in June, 1999 after a 20 year career in catering and event planning.
Leslie started with Builder’s 1st Choice on June 14, 1999 as a Community Sales Associate and quickly fast-tracked to Community Sales Manager after becoming licensed and completing the BFC management training program. She was promoted in November, 1999 to handle the close-out of a luxury townhome product in a golf course community.
In 2000, Leslie was the “Rookie of the Year” for Builder’s 1st Choice. In 2001, she was the “Single Family Homes Salesperson of the Year” and “Overall Salesperson of the Year” for Builder’s 1st Choice and the “Single Family Homes Salesperson of the Year” for the Sales and Marketing Council of HBAM.
In May of 2002, Leslie was promoted to Sales and Marketing Manager working with multiple builders building a variety of products in Maryland, Northern Virginia, Southern Pennsylvania, North Carolina and the District of Columbia. She managed the sales teams at over 20 communities.
In September, 2004, Leslie began handling business development and sales and marketing management in the urban markets. Projects represented included urban infill, adaptive re-use and urban renaissance locations, as well as affordable housing projects. Leslie was a member of the Board of Directors for the Baltimore City Developers and Builders Chapter of HBAM and a participant on the Inclusionary Housing Task Force, tasked with developing policy on work force and affordable housing for the Baltimore City Council.
Leslie was proud to be nominated as Sales and Marketing Manager of the Year for 2006 by the Sales and Marketing Council of HBAM. Additionally, Leslie was presented with the Dedication Award in 2006 from Builder’s 1st Choice.
