    Fun Fall Activities in Maryland

Nothing about 2020 has been what we expected, and this fall will be no exception. While you’ll still be able to savor pumpkin spice season and sport your favorite flannel, some typical fall things- like hosting Halloween parties or attending football games- will be off limits. So what can we do in celebration of Mother Nature’s most beautiful season? Check out this list of places in Maryland where you can go to do all those fall activities you love while maintaining social distance.

Larriland Farm | 2415 Woodbine Road, Woodbine, MD 21797
Pick your own pumpkin, vegetables, and apples at this festive farm decorated for Halloween. Activities also include Hayrides and a mini corn maze.

Rodger’s Farm | 1818 Greenspring Valley Road, Stevenson, MD 21153
Get lost in a huge corn field as you find your way to various checkpoints to beat the maze. Grab a cup of apple cider before petting the animals at the petting zoo, picking a pumpkin, and going on a hayride.

Queen Anne Farm Inc. | 18102 Central Avenue, Mitchellville, MD 20716
Located midway between D.C. and Annapolis, this farm offers locally grown produce in abundance for you to pick fresh! Plus, there’s a pumpkin patch to stay festive, and mums in fall colors are available for purchase.

    Baugher’s Orchard and Farm | 289 W. Main Street, Westminster, MD 21158
Plan a fun day to pick your own fresh fruit from their orchards, including strawberries, cherries, peaches, plums, nectarines, apples, and of course, pumpkins. There’s also a restaurant, bakery, and fruit market.

…And if you’d rather stay in to be extra careful, enjoy any of these indoor, at-home, fun, fall activities including: baking a pie, making caramel apples, carving a Jack-O-Lantern, stuffing a scarecrow and watching Halloween movies!
