    Pivoting in a Pandemic

    Today is March 27th, and we’ve been in the midst of this coronavirus pandemic for a few weeks now here in the United States. We, like many others all over the world, have been pivoting to adjust our business with the current situation, and we wanted to share an update with some positive, exciting news about the real estate market.

    This week we put 20 homes on the market. (And our expansion teams in markets across the country and in Canada put 6 homes on the market this week.)

    In the last 10 days we’ve signed more than 30 listing agreements with clients who will be listing their homes with us. Some of these clients we’ve met in person, some we’ve met virtually. Here’s just one fun example of how we’ve pivoted to connect and “meet” clients by conducting our business virtually:

    Last week, Bob & Tracy Lucido got a phone call from a couple who have a home in Clarksville. Bob & Tracy sold a house two doors down from theirs last year, and they wanted to talk to us about now listing and selling their home. They live in Florida now, and invited Bob & Tracy to tour the home in Clarksville, so neighbors opened the doors and provided access to the property. Bob & Tracy have had several conversations with these clients virtually, and last night they electronically signed the listing agreement with us. We will be putting their home on the market in two weeks at a list price of $2,975,000.
